Wow, 1981 seems like a long, long time ago.  That's the year I started She Shells.  At the time, I was an independant sales representative, living in Honolulu, Hawaii.  My customers were asking for interesting shell jewelry and accessories, which were no where to be found.  I had a lot of ideas and began designing and importing shell components.  Making everything myself, I began with a line of handmade belts and later expanded to earrings and necklaces.  The rest is history......and that's my story.
